Most recently she leveraged Alma Start to successfully implement paperless enrollment and helped support her entire district throughout the transition.

As Director of Technology, Innovation, and Online Learning, Sam Mormando led Garnet Valley School District to become nationally recognized for innovative teaching practices. including its adoption of Open Education Resources, using Amazon’s Alexa as a learning aid for students, and developing its student-centered course design process which allows students at the secondary level to take their courses in-person, online, and/or in a blended format. Prior to this, he was an award-winning Classrooms for the Future teacher and instructional coach.
