Alma’s revolutionary state portal streamlines and modernizes data collection from LEAs–regardless of their choice in SIS–avoiding major switching costs and easing change management pain.

    Each school and district that uses Alma has its own secure database. Alma encrypts data at rest in the database itself and data is always accessible in the application via modern 128-bit encryption. Alma never combines student records across schools, districts or states.

  • DRIVE INSIGHTS & ACCOUNTABILITY

    Alma’s real-time student and school data empowers state data experts to spend their time analyzing the valuable data they have, instead of trying to get through submissions reviews. Timely, highly accurate data drives administrators to monitor trends, determine appropriate interventions, and draw upon strategic insights to make equitable decisions.

  • ALMA-HOSTED ED-FI OPERATIONAL DATA STORE

    Alma hosts and configures the Ed-Fi Operational Data Stores (ODS) while providing a robust solution for accessing standardized, Common Education Data Standards-compliant Ed-Fi data in near real-time and merging disparate data sources.

  • IMPORTER/PORTAL FOR THIRD PARTY SIS LEAs

    Schools and districts using a third party SIS access a simplified Alma portal, leveraging an intuitive Importer with robust validation checks. Once implementation is complete, Alma provides API options for other vendors that wish to automate the submission process, easing SIS change management headaches.

  • MODERNIZATION FOR LEAs WITH ALMA AND OTHER MODERN SISs

    All districts benefit from state implementation of Alma, with configurable validation rules and clear communication of errors and anomalies. Built on an intuitive interface and superior technical architecture, Alma’s future-ready solution eases change management headaches. The data and communication portal is embedded in the SIS, sending real-time data to the state system with safeguards that drastically reduce the likelihood of inaccuracies.

Alma supports every user in successfully accessing the information they need without barriers or added fees. The Alma Project Team and technical support are available as needed to assist state-level users, so every LEA staff member has access to support via email, phone, and in-app messenger.
